Machining
Machining is a manufacturing process that utilizes machine tools to perform operations-such as cutting, drilling, and milling-on metal workpieces, thereby shaping them to the required dimensions and geometry. This method enables the achievement of high dimensional accuracy and superior surface quality. Compared to casting and forging, machining is better suited for small-batch production or for manufacturing parts that demand high precision. However, machining generates metal chips, resulting in material waste, and its processing efficiency is relatively lower.
Welding Technology
Welding is a manufacturing process in which separate metal components are joined together to form a single, integral unit through the application of heat or pressure. Welding allows for the joining of both identical and dissimilar metal materials, thereby enabling the fabrication of complex structures. Compared to other joining methods-such as riveting-welding produces joints with greater strength and results in a more compact structural assembly. Nevertheless, the welding process can induce internal stresses and deformation, necessitating subsequent post-processing to ensure dimensional accuracy.
