Large structural fabrication uses our heavy-equipment line: flame cutting for plates up to 150mm, plasma for medium plate, edge preparation (bevel, J-groove) for full-penetration welds, SAW for thick-section welding, and large-capacity HDG. We use welding fixtures and positioning equipment to maintain dimensional accuracy on large assemblies. For very large structures, we fabricate in sub-assemblies for site assembly.

A: Maximum single-piece size is approximately 12m x 3m x 2m, limited by transport. For larger structures, we fabricate in sub-assemblies designed for site bolting or welding.
Q: Can you provide full-penetration welds on thick plate?
A: Yes, we prepare bevel, J-groove, or U-groove edges and use SAW (submerged arc welding) for full-penetration welds on plates up to 150mm thick. All full-penetration welds can be UT tested.
Q: Do you provide trial assembly for large structures?
A: Yes, for complex large structures we can pre-assemble in our factory to verify fit-up and alignment before shipping. This is recommended for structures with multiple bolted connections.
