Fabricated from Q235B or Q355B hot-rolled H-sections (or custom welded built-up sections), the column integrates a thick steel base plate and 4 full-penetration welded triangular gusset plates at the base to distribute axial compression and bending moments into the foundation. The base plate features 4 CNC-drilled anchor bolt holes with ±1mm tolerance for perfect alignment with cast-in-place or post-installed anchor bolts. Every weld is visually inspected and UT/MT tested per AWS D1.1 or ISO 3834-2. Standard surface preparation includes SA 2.5 shot blasting followed by 60-80μm epoxy zinc-rich primer. Hot-dip galvanizing and intumescent fireproof coating systems are available as options.
